The Key Stage 3 Awards Evening at Leigh Academy Ebbsfleet is a true highlight of the academic calendar, a night where the corridors are filled with a sense of pride and achievement. This special event brings together students, families and staff to celebrate the incredible progress, dedication and character shown by our Years 7, 8 and 9 learners. It is more than just a ceremony; it is a reflection of our “Believe, Achieve, Succeed” ethos in action, showcasing that there truly is no ceiling to what our young people can accomplish when they “Work Hard and Be Nice.”
The evening honors a wide range of successes, from Subject Excellence and Outstanding Progress to awards that celebrate the IB Learner Profile. Students are recognized for being principled, caring and reflective—traits that are at the very heart of our Middle Years Programme (MYP). Seeing so many of our Key Stage 3 students take to the stage to receive their certificates and trophies is a powerful reminder of the vibrant, ambitious community we are building together here in Ebbsfleet.
